Escor™ by ExxonMobil Chemical is a brand of ethylene acrylic acid (EAA) copolymers known for exceptional adhesive properties, particularly for polar substrates, aluminum foil, and metallized films. Used primarily in extrusion coatings and laminations, they eliminate the need for primers in applications like packaging and cable shielding.

Balance of adhesion onto the substrates and interlayer adhesion with coextruded LDPE and EVAs

Formulations can be UV-stabilized for use in outdoor applications

High bond resistance when used to pack acidic food products

Sealing performance: very low temperature sealing with high seal strengths, high hot-tack forces and good seal-through contamination
