Celanese is a global leader in polyoxymethylene (POM) , also known as acetal or polyacetal, marketing its products primarily under the well-known Hostaform® and Celcon® brands. As the original commercializer of acetal copolymer in 1962, Celanese has a long history in this engineering thermoplastic.
