Ultrason®P is BASF's brand designation for polyphenylsulfone (PPSU) , part of the Ultrason® family of high-performance thermoplastics . It is an amorphous material known for combining exceptional toughness with high heat resistance and excellent chemical resistance

High heat resistance: Long-term service temperature up to 180°C (short-term up to 220°C)

Excellent hydrolysis resistance: Withstands repeated steam sterilization (134°C)

Good chemical resistance: Resistant to detergents, oils, fats, and many chemicals

Transparent: Natural honey-colored tint, can be colored for various design options

Food contact approved: Compliant with FDA and EU regulations, with BPA/BPS-free options available for sensitive applications
